I. Brief introduction
Cement fiber board is a new type light-weight and high-strength material with good fireproof and heat insulation performances. It is made of siliceous materials (main component is SiO2), cement and reinforced material. It is made in such procedures: making slurry, shaping, pressing, curing&maintaining, drying, sanding, etc. The cement fiber board which is different from traditional building material production has higher requirements on techniques and equipments. The high quality cement fiber board production depends on the quality of product's raw material, technology, advanced equipment and management experience.
The product can be fabricated in the way of sawing, drilling, nailing, digging, etc. After decoration on the surface, it can be used widely on buildings�inner wall, ceiling and acoustic board in gym, theater, and meeting room. Combined with other materials, composite wall which is fireproof, sound insulation and energy-saving can be made. The main features of cement fiber board production is the procedure called “curing&maintaining� that is, when products are in 180� 1 *** autoclave, a Tobermorite crystal with stable performance can be made in the product after 24 hrs’s chemical reaction. The more Tobermorite crystal is in the product, the more stable is the product’s performance.
Cement fiber board with good feature of green product, is one of the new type building products recommended by the National Ministry of Construction in China. With its very good advantages of fireproof, moisture proof, high strength, stable performance, long service life, its application value is apparently higher than gypsum board and magnesium board. Hence, though cement fiber board is with high cost and price as much as 1 to 2 times more than gypsum board, more and more buildings ask for this kind of construction board for its excellent performances and practical advantages of firefighting, moistureproof, shock proof and durability.
